Here in Savannah, Georgia, the worst of the storm has yet to hit my particular area. It should in a few hours though, according to the news anyway. I’m expecting no power and maybe a little flooding—since I live beside a lake—hopefully nothing too bad. I’ll be back again once this whole thing blows over.
Those feeling the brunt of the storm or those in its line of fire, if possible, I urge you to check any local evacuation shelters and to pack an emergency bag with clothes, water, food, and any important documents you might need to bring (passports, SS cards, Birth Certificates) just in case you find yourself needing to leave the house. Remember to put everything in plastic bags!
Stay safe everyone.
